This is a small town why choose romance. It is the second book in the Cozyverse series (I found this on Kindle Unlimited and didn’t know it was the second in the series). This is a standalone omega verse book. This book follows Ivy Noelle Winter who is an unbounded omega who has no intentions of being in a pack.

ivy is a fifth grade teacher who is content with being alone. She just really wants to help her students and her community.

When a snowstorm and power outage keeps Ivy in her classroom after hours, she gets caught up with three men. Rome, an alpha and music teacher. James, a beta and vet who is bonded to Rome. Finally, Logan, an alpha and electrician.

After the events of the snowstorm the alphas and beta cannot deny that they want a pack. They all have a connection to Ivy and would like for their pack to grow with her.

I rated this book 3/5 stars. I think that there wasn’t really a plot. It was just a girl who went through some things and has low self-esteem. I loved the characters and humor in the story. I think it could’ve been put together better with a real plot. It is a short book that will be a good pallet cleanser if you need a break in a series or a change in genre.

This book is really fun and it has some spice. This did stop me from going into a reading slump after reading onyx storm. This was also my first introduction into the omega verse. I think that if you have never read anything in the omega verse this is a good book to start with since it is a cozy romance.
